Hi. Mr. Moo here. I have a problem with throwing away the 1990s.
Not emotionally. Literally.
At some point I started collecting the stuff nobody thought was worth saving like disposable-cameras, old ads, video game magazines, weird gadgets, school junk, CD cases, TV clips, snack wrappers, mall relics, and all the other nonsense that quietly disappeared while nobody was paying attention.
And now it lives here.
The 90s Shoebox is part time capsule, part junk drawer, and part evidence that yes, we really did dress like that.
I'm not trying to document every important thing that happened in the '90s. I'm more interested in the little stuff. The forgotten stuff. Things you haven't thought about in 25 years that suddenly unlock some dusty corner of your brain:
OH MY GOD. I REMEMBER THAT!
So dig around. Click things. Get distracted. Remember the sound of dial-up. Wander through Blockbuster again. Question why everything was either teal, purple, translucent, or covered in triangles.
If you lose an hour in here and end up on eBay looking for the exact phone you had in 1997, that's between you and eBay.
Welcome to the shoebox.
